We have witnessed the introduction of many Made in India applications since the government of India banned over 100 Chinese applications, including the very popular TikTok. Most of the app developers are claiming that PM Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat has boosted their platforms. People in India are now preferring apps that ate made by Indians and are for Indians. Many Made in India apps have taken centre stage, in the last few months. Let’s take a look at a few of them here. Some Indian apps were already present before our PM announced the Atmanirbhar Bharat campaign and have attracted the attention of a lot of consumers.


Many Indian developers introduced rivals to the Chinese App Tiktok after it was banned. Chingari being one of them. This App again is already available on the Play store for download, however, the official rollout has to take place still. The Moj app is also available in many regional languages including Hindi, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Odia, Bhojpuri, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Assamese, Rajasthani, Haryanvi and Urdu.
